The ICE, the event at St. Moritz that included laps on the ice track, a Concours d’Elegance and competitions with the eClassic simulators, was dominated by a veritable star, the Lamborghini Miura P400 driven by Fritz Kaiser. The car, that became famous with the film “The Italian Job”, won the Stars on Wheels award, beating among others even James Bond’s famous (and real) Aston Martin DB5.

In addition, the eClassic simulator allowed competitors and passionate fans of this world to experience the thrill of driving it on the icy track. Among the other stars of the day, the Ferrari 275 GTB Alloy driven by Katarina Kyvalova who won the Jetset On Ice award, and the Ferrari 250 GTO owned by Brandon Wang which took home the InstaLake award.

A special mention should also go out to the single seaters, courageously driven on a track that was decidedly different to the asphalt versions they were originally designed for: the 1939 Maserati 4CL and the 1933 Alfa Romeo Tipo B/P3 Scuderia Ferrari, once raced by Tazio Nuvolari.
